The only thing “wrong” with this video is an art direction point and that is that the voice both in style and enthusiasm does not much the degree of fun and whimsy you are having with your text. Self authored projects or student assignments like this are a great way for designers to explore 3-d space in After Effects. Some people just like to bash because they feel lifted after doing so… too bad for them.

thanks for your … thanks for your comment. if you don’t like it that’s fine, and by the way, this was a school project a few years back when i was attending YSDN. I’ve been in a the business a few years now, i always educate my clients. If you can back yourself up with everything you put on your canvas, you have a good argument. 80% of the time i can persuade the client to go my way. the 20% of the time you really didn’t hit their spot.

The background voice is meant to be boring. This is an experimental piece. I am trying to make something boring into something wonderful, or else it would have a better tone of voice and layered with music, but how will this be any different than the other kinetic typography video there is?
I am really tired of how everything has to be neat and ornate, why can’t it have dirty color combination that i have with a voice that does not sound very interesting.
