The Slanted Door
This project was to design a new brand identity for The Slanted Door. The Slanted Door is a modern Vietnamese restaurant that showcases the abundance of produce. So I tried to designed their identity modernly with bright orange color and still look Vietnamese with their national flower lotus.

Pantone
This project was to design three posters for Pantone. My design goal was to show as much as color that’s in the world to remind people that Pantone captures the World’s color.

CIOCCOLATO
This project was to design a logo and packages for CIOCCOLATO. CIOCCOLATO is high quality and romantic chocolate. So I tried accomplished design goal with romantic looks logo and simple stripe on bar packaging.

Bay Area
The objective was to create a four-page magazine spread titled "The Best of the Bay Area." The article gives the reader an overview of the Bay Area.

Basically.. I need to design a Logo for my chosen band ‘Flesh’
It’s going to be a Punk band, so gore is acceptable.
I also wouldn’t mind like semi naked people.. that would be cool.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas/ pictures which would help me?

I’ve already got some ideas;
A woman with her top half naked and she’s got ‘Flesh’ etched down her back.
The same but on an arm
Or ‘flesh’ tattooed onto an arm/part of the body,

My boyfriend came up with doing something like the cover of Blink 182’s Dude Ranch,
A cow with ‘blink 182′ branded on it’s bum,.
That would be pretty good.

I need ideas for a good company name.
I’m thinking of an "abstract" type of name maybe.

Nothing with the word "solutions" in it or "services."
Something that somewhat conveys what I do, but can be vague, because I can always add a tag line in it saying what I do.

Any and all ideas welcome, whether you think it sounds stupid or not!

Logo Designing is the proccess of creating the symbol with which your company or product is identified by. Like the tick mark of Nike or the giant M of Mcdonalds.

Branding is the application of name and logo to a product or concept that you intend to sell in the market

Corporate Identity refers to the recognition and awareness created by a corporate or company that may indulge in single or multiple products or concepts. A strong corporate identity means it is easier for them to come up with newer products and be guaranteed strong sales even in the face of stiff competition

Brand Identity is the awareness created by a particular brand. It is generated by a mix of clever marketing, quirky punchlines, ads and good logo designs and most importantly, correctly identifying your target group.

I am a small business owner who runs a web and graphic design business. Recently I created a DVD
cover for a person where my logo brand appeared on the front and the back of the cover.
It has just come to my knowledge that these persons have removed my logo off of the front of the dvd
cover without my permission. The DVD is being sold nation wide so they are making profit off of it.

So my questions is, by these persons removing my logo identity off of the front of the
cover, does this constitute copyright infringement? Do I have a just cause to take legal action?

First of all, if you need legal advice, you must seek the advice of an attorney. While I can impart some general information, nothing I say constitutes legal advice. Remember that your attorney has a legal duty as to your interests; strangers on the Internet do not.

As to your question, removing a logo, in and of itself, has nothing to do with copyright infringement. For example, I can scrape off the Toyota logo off a car and sell it. Copyright infringement is essentially the appropriation of copyrighted material without permission. Now if your DVD is being copied and sold without your permission, then that might constitute copyright infringement.

A big fact that is missing here (and one reason why you need to see an attorney) is the contract between you and your client. The written contract is going to spell out the rights your client has to the DVD you created for them. To the extent that the contract does not explicitly set out those rights or a written contract does not exist, then you may have to rely on other factors including state contract law.
